Otabek used one arm to help catch Yuri. Once he was sure the other was solidly on his two feet, he stepped away from him. He didn't want anything to be awkward for Yuri (or himself), so he decided that he'd keep himself a step or two away.

"I got in really late last night, so I didn't want to disturb you." He thought it would be rude to text someone that he anticipated was probably sleeping.

Especially if he knew he'd be seeing them the next day for training.
